The En Plein Air Coffee Club recognizes that Seattle’s hills are a serious obstacle to some of our fellow cyclists’ enjoyment of local riding. While a more accessible long-term solution would be something like the Trampe CycloCable, in the meantime we just have to tough it out. The first handful of times you bike up Capitol Hill it will be terrible. There’s no use sugar-coating that. But you will probably make it, and you’ll be amazed how quickly your endurance builds. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone finishes. Here’s a map to the starting point. We’ll end near Pine & Boylston.
