Seattle Piers 62 & 63 are a public park. They were built in the 1920s as a normal cargo pier. The piers used to host the annual Summer Nights at the Pier concert series, but this was discontinued in recent years because of the deterioration of the piers and concerns about their ability to support the weight of the event. A $29M project will begin in fall 2017 to rebuild a substantial portion of the two piers so that events may be held there again. EPACC will meet at 8am on Friday 19th August 2016 on Seattle Pier 62 or 63, depending on where we find a spot. Watch out for splinters. Here’s a map.
